We plan to set up the Book Club on the second Wednesday of the month and meet in the Guide HQ.

Book Club

Ockford-Godalming Social Get togethers

We meet at a variety of local 'hostelries' to enjoy a drink and sometimes a good lunch.

Carol arranged a very successful coffee morning at Squires recently and there will be a further outing shortly.

Scrabble Club

We love playing Scrabble and Rummikub!

Please let us know if you want to attend a games afternoon on the second Wednesday of the month.  We meet at the HQ in Seymour Road.  Scrabble will take place on Wednesday 8th April. Open to all. £2 which includes refreshments.

Stitch & Chat

We are a group of Knitters and Chatterboxes! There are various arts and crafts undertaken by our members and we can learn from each other. All good fun.

We will be meeting on Wednesday 8th April  when members are going to decorate glassware.  Please bring glass jars and napkins.

We have visits to all sorts of interesting places during the year.

Our next outing will be to Denbies vineyard near Dorking on Wednesday 20th May.  There will be a tour (50 minutes) and lunch will be available afterwards.  Please see Niki if you would like to attend.  £11.50

Craft Sessions

We have occasional special Craft Sessions.  

  A craft day was held on Wednesday 10th December at the Scout and Guide HQ in Seymour Road.  Cheryl helped us create a flower arrangement using hard backed books.  After lunch Janet Davis showed us how to paint on silk fabric.  A very  interesting work shop.

Theatre Trips

We have occasional visits to local amateur & professional shows.  

  Our next theatre trip will be to see 'Sister Act' on 18th July at the Ben Travers Theatre. Tickets are £23. Please see Helen if interested.
