Book Club

Munch/Lunch Club

We meet at a variety of local 'hostelries' to enjoy a drink and a good lunch.

Have we a volunteer to arrange a lunch meeting once a  month?

Scrabble Club

We love playing Scrabble and Rummikub!

Please let us know if you want to attend a games afternoon on the second Wednesday of the month.  We meet at the HQ in Seymour Road.  Scrabble and Rummikub.

Stitch & Chat

We are a group of Knitters and Chatterboxes! There are various arts and crafts undertaken by our members and we can learn from each other. All good fun.

We had a great day on Wednesday 8th October when making button pumpkins.  Great fun and lots of chatter!

We have visits to all sorts of interesting places during the year.

We had an outing to Windsor on 17th April which was very successful.  We are taking ideas for outings in 2026.

Craft Sessions

We have occasional special Craft Sessions.  

  A craft day is being held on Wednesday 10th December at the Scout and Guide HQ in Seymour Road.  Cheryl will lead a floral workshop in the morning and after lunch Janet Davis will show us how to make silk flowers.  Fully booked.

Theatre Trips

We have occasional visits to local amateur & professional shows.  We especially enjoy GTG pantomimes and plays. 

Our theatre trip to see a performance of "Bedroom Farce" by GTG at Priors Field was very well attended.  18 members attended this fun show!
